Topic: What is Google sandbox?

Hello
I hear a lot about Google Sandbox. Any one tells me what is Google Sandbox?
I am waiting your response.

Re: What is Google sandbox?

Google Sandbox is an alleged filter placed on another new websites. It is kept lower than expected in searches, prior to being given full value for its incoming links and content. The result is that a site does not receive good rankings for its most important keywords and keyword phrases. Even with good content, abundant incoming links and strong Google PageRank, a site is still adversely affected by the Sandbox effect. The Sandbox acts as a de facto probation for sites, possibly to discourage spam sites from rising quickly, getting banned, and repeating the process.

Re: What is Google sandbox?

Google Sandbox is a new filter that appeared to be put in place back in March of 2004. This happened after the widely publicized updates of Austin and Florida, and the implementation of what is known as the Austin update. If you are not sure what those are, there is no need to worry as those updates are now for the most part in the past.

The Sandbox filter seems to affect nearly all new websites placing them on an initial "probation" status. The effect of this is that new websites may get into Google's SERP's (search engine results pages) relatively quickly and may even perform well for a couple of weeks. When the filter is applied to the new website it is referred to as being put in the sandbox. The new website will still show in the result pages, but it will not rank well regardless of how much original, well optimized content and regardless of how many quality inbound links the site may have. The filter restrains new websites from having immediate success in the search engine result pages.

Why did Google institute a Sandbox?

It is thought that the reason Google  created the Sandbox new site filter was to stop spam related sites from adding numerous purchased links--and ranking highly for their keywords from the date of launch. Since Google apparently considers a high number of links pointing to a site from the beginning to be rather suspicious, the links are not considered to be natural. Another possibility is spam sites would use various tactics to rise to the top of the search results, and gain heavy sales prior to being banned for being in violation of Google’s Terms of Service; and then repeating the process continually. As a result, new sites are put into a form of probation, usually referred to as the Google Sandbox.

Google Sand box is an claimed narrow placed on new websites. The result is a website does not get excellent ratings for its most important key terms and key terms. Even with excellent content, numerous inbound hyperlinks and strong google PageRank, a website is still detrimentally suffering from the Sand box effect.

Re: What is Google sandbox?

Google looks at new sites with suspicion. Not because you have done anything wrong, but there is a lot of people out there trying to scam the search engines using techniques that are “unethical” and try to manipulate the ranking and results. So, when you launch a new site, it is compared against a wide range of “Spam Site” filters and compared with a wide matrix of red-flags to see if there is anything that may be wrong with your website. If there is a any kind of black hat SEO related work then your site will be send to the google Sand Box.
