Topic: Directories still working?

My opinion is, that free directories do not play any role in web promotion in Google. Reason is that all links from free directories have O weight for Google.
Am I right?

I don't think so but maybe a little bit true. free directories also works.
Oh well I'm confused about it.

yes right. most of the  free directories are 0 weight for Google.
